Town of Snow Hill The Town of Snow Hill collection system consists of both gravity and force mains as well as seven pumping stations. The Town of Snow Hill operates a state of the art .50 MGD treatment facility consisting of mechanical screens, aerated grit removal, non-aerated reactors for biological nutrient removal, aeration basins, clarifiers, chlorination/dechlorination chambers, digesters, and holding tanks. The facility discharges into Contentnea Creek. Our excess biosolids are stabilized and land applied for agricultural use.
